Flex series is the result of research into the painting support material, aiming to transform the rigidity of the canvas (cotton, linen) to give it flexibility through various chemical and painting techniques.

This flexibility allows for the introduction of volume behind the canvas without tearing it or causing the dense mass of color on top to crack.

Regarding color, the accumulation of superimposed glazes creates a field of chromatic vibration designed to quiet the amygdala and activate the default mode network, inducing a state of calm.

In her ongoing quest for a deeper understanding of painting materials, the artist, instead of using an elastic fabric as a base, which would prevent the application of paint, challenges herself to achieve the elasticity that the canvas lacks by developing her own method.

La serie Flex es el resultado de una investigación sobre el material de soporte de la pintura, cuyo objetivo es lograr transformar la rigidez del lienzo (algodón, lino) para dotarlo de flexibilidad mediante diferentes herramientas químicas y pictoricas.

La flexibilidad que se logra, permite introducir un volumen tras la tela sin que esta se rasgue ni la densa masa de color que reposa sobre ella, craquele.

En cuanto al color, la acumulación de veladuras superpuestas, crea un campo de vibración cromatica diseñado para silenciar la amígdala y activar la red neuronal por defecto, induciendo un estado de calma.

En su continua búsqueda del conocimiento profundo de los materiales, la pintora, en lugar de utilizar un tejido elástico como base, lo cual no permitiría la aplicación de pintura, se reta a sí misma a lograr la elasticidad de la que carece el lienzo mediante el desarrollo de un método propio.
